Valve body opinions please

Hey im thinking about doing a valve body upgrade while i save up for a built trans. Anyone with experience with these lemme know who is the best to buy from.. Lookin at the dieselsite factory tech one by greg evens, and the riffraff one made by john woods any opinions? thanks

I have this one . . . BD-Power Exchange Accumulator Kit

I've been using it for about 4-5 years now along with this BD-Power Torque Converter 1030223

And I put the Derale cooler w/fan on . . .

from reading on here of others opinions im not sure if bd is the best for the money, its basically the same price across the board, so i'd like to go with a well respected name. But i could be wrong here, i would think with your stage 2's you would have killed your trans already, or do you keep the romps to a minimum. One more thing how do you like the beans IDM mod?

My trans is okay so far . . . I have been using Amsoil in it and have the aftermarket cooler w/fan mounted on the frame with an inline filter also. I have that billet converter and valvebody which has definitely helped but I do keep the romping to a minimum. When I do romp on it I can smell a funny smell and am not sure what it was that was burning but I don't want to find out so I keep it to a minimum . . .

The IDM mod I did at the same time as the injectors so I'm not sure as to the difference really.

Yeah i've been looking for the 31 row cooler to do the swap out on mine, but everyone wants a million dollars for a used part. I dont tow or anything with mine, its just my daily driver, but i still want to keep her cool. Id love a BTS trans but who has 5k layin around and can justify it on a trans that would be replacing a perfectly running one. At least not me right now. thanks for all your info though

Putting Amsoil in the trans was my biggest difference in temps. I am not even running the front O.E. cooler, just the Derale on the frame and I currently don't even have the fan on it (getting fixed).

Put the Amsoil in it and get yourself a gauge!
