My loving wife bought us a 99 Corvette to play with , its a LS1 powered auto car loaded ..............I am enthused!

Congrats man! The LS1 plateform of engines is one of the best. If you want to up the compression ratio you can bolt on a set of truck 5.3L heads, if you want to lower it and run a supercharger or something, you can bolt on 6.0L heads. The truck intake manifolds give more low end torque and can be ported easier. The 99 was the beggining of the good years, the 98 is the least desireable. The possibilites with that engine are limitless!
