Foil Delete / What Do I Need?

I'm gettin' ready to put an air filter on my truck and I just thought, well since I have all that crap off why not remove the the foil? So, my question is, what do I need for the job? Cause I've heard it's pretty aggrevating.

A knife, a gallon of brake cleaner, and a wire wheel grinder. Oh, and a box of bandaids.

Put on gloves to rip off the foil, Xylene, wire brush, and some rags to dissolve the glue (OUTSIDE for the fumes )
