lockers

has anyone put a locker in thier psd? i have an open diff. and it is driving me nuts. i didn't spend $ 1200.00 on tires to smoke one tire. plus i have to lock in my hubs so stopping at a stop light getting out and locking in the hubs to put her in 4-wheel peel is kinda of out of the question to beat some ricer. anyways, just wondering if anyone has put a locker in their ride or any helpful insight on what ones to buy and what ones to stay away from. i like the price of a spool, but i don't think that it would work to well with my driving.

I'm with Raul. Detroit has some great stuff. Or if you got the money an ARB air locker! Never done a PSD but the good thing about the detroit is you should not have to remove the carrier to install so you won't have to worry about screwing with the backlash etc.... The ARB you're gonna have to remove the carrier to install.

I love mine as well. Works great on the street and the dirt. It makes so little noise that when it does engage loudly it scares me for a second then I remember what it is.
