Is Coastal 15w40 Diesel oil ok?

If I do get the F-250 at the dealer, my friend wants to give me a free oil change. He has an abundance of Coastal 15w40 diesel oil. He used to have a Powerstroke, and that's what he used.

I don't see why it wouldn't be OK. I run 15-40 in my truck and have had zero problems. +1 for a FREE oil change...you just saved $60!

If its diesel rated, who cares... 90% of the oils come from the same three dist points.
