Door open light stays on and reverse sensor problem

Hey guys! I'm new to the site and just want to say......wow! I love this!

Anyhoo,
I have a 2002 F350 crew cab shortbox 4x4 with the 7.3
I love it to death, but I've notice a couple of problems.
2 things:
My "door ajar" light stays on and therefore my interior light also stays on for a few minutes until it times out. All of the doors are closed and secure. It seems like it is the drivers side rear door that is the culprit. I thought I'd just spray some lube on the switch........but I can't find the switch! What activates the "door ajar" light and what can I do to correct this problem?
Also,
I have the rear sensors, but whenever I put the truck in reverse they turn off. So I put it in Drive or Park....make sure the Off light is not lit up on the sensor switch and again, the light goes to "OFF" when I put it in reverse.
Any help with these issues is greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot guys!

I Had The Same Door Light Problem On My 2003. It Was Still Under Warranty When It Happened So I Took It To The Dealer And They Replace The Latch Or Loop And Told Me The Sensor Was In That. Can't Help On The Reverse Sensor Problem.

The switch is on the latch. You have to take the latch out of the door and then you can change the switch. I have done 4 of them in the last 6 months, pretty common problem.

Just try spraying the switch with some old WD. I had the same problem awhile back. Just spray the locking mech and then open and shut the door a few times.
