Turbo life

I figure I'm going to have to change the turbo sooner or later ( hopefully sooner ) and was wondering how long is the stock turbo suppose to go for? I'm at 110k and don't feel anything wrong with the turbo and even run my Hypertech on stage 3 daily. Is it worth it to do the WW and ATS housing so late in the game?

Oh when I go WOT off the line, it pulls hard and keeps going till it shifts to 3rd and gets to high RPMs. By then it seems like it CAN pull harder, it just isn't. I don't believe its de-fueling because I've never gotten the SES light (unless its broken lol). Just wondering how do I get better acceleration in the upper RPMs.

Thanks, Leon.

If you got the funds to upgrade do it. I would. Just keep the stocker as a spare just in case.

If i upgraded turbos, do I still get that fluttery sound or will it be close to a 6.0 whistle?

If you went to larger injectors and turbo you'd be o.k. but as it is your stock HPOP can't meet the demand at the higher RPM'S

First if you ever plan on doin upgrades to the injectors. I would go with an upgraded turbo either Garrett BB or Turbonetics drop-in. No sense in spending money on parts your just gonna get rid of when you buy a new turbo. The HPOP might be goin out or the Hypertech could just be askin too much for the HPOP and cant keep up with the injectors.
