EDGE Products and CARB
Text of email just received from EDGE Products
There have been many questions about the new diesel smog check laws in California and the legality of using Edge Products on diesel trucks in California. Edge is proud to say that it has official CARB E.O.s (exemptions) for all of its products made for gasoline-powered vehicles. Furthermore, Edge has submitted applications to have all of its non-Edge Racing, diesel products tested for CARB compliance. Since Edge has test applications pending, its pending products have been listed on the CARB website “products in progress” list. This means the presence of these products on your vehicle will not make you fail the diesel smog check visual test. Edge Products will have one year to get these products tested and compliant with CARB standards. You can view the “products in progress” list on the CARB website at the following link: Database: Aftermarket Parts Database of Executive Orders
If you have any questions about this matter you can call Edge Customer Service at 888-360-3343. Thank you for your support.
