lowering question

if i do a 5" shackle and hanger lowering kit....i know i need to fix the pinion angle and change the shocks, but will i need to shorten the driveshaft? any help will be greatly appreciated.

btw, its a 2000 f-350 7.3 drw 4x2...lowering the rear only to level it out

if i were to just lower the rear i would start by removing the block

the only block i have is the spring perch (contoured to fit the axle) so i cant remove that (i wish it was that easy, was excited about the idea until i investigated)
