Bypass filter question

I have an fs2500 bypass filter and my question is I have the return line going into the hole were you check to see if you have PMR's or not does that port have suction there? My oil doesn't seem to stay any cleaner than before thats why im asking.

A bypass filter will not keep your oil from sooting up and getting black, those soot particles are sub micron and no bypass sytem that I know of will clean it out of the oil.

That bypass system you have will protect your engine from the larger particles that do the real damage, it's a good investment if your going to keep your truck for a long time.

if you have alot of miles, you have build up in the motor, thats natural in any combustion engine, particularly diesels, the fella above is dead on. Did you do the engine flush prior to installing the by-pass?, I have heard and seen some good results from Amsoil engine flush( if you want some info, let me know) i havent used anyother kind of engine flush so i cant speak as to how they work. good luck!!!!
