How To Clean an EGR Valve???

'99 7.3 Stoke has the Hicups. From reading this site I belive it is a dirty EGR valve. Any have directions or can explain how to remove and replace after cleaning the EGR valve.

7.3 does not have an EGR but there is a sensor that can get dirty that would cause the EBPV to stick. I have to check on where that one is

I have already replaced the fuel filter. Still misses. CPS? Is that a Cam Position Sensor. A bud told me that may be the issue and is going to take alook at it for me this weekend. I appreciate the comments!

Thanks to everyone. I just found some info at the following site:

CPS Failure!

I paste it incase someone else needs the info. This seems to be the exact thing My truck is doing. Actually died at a stop sign this evening but started right up. No problem. don't think it missed after that. Have looked online tonight and they seem to be going for $109-$120. Have not found that $27 one yet. I'll go to town tomorrow and find one and leave a final message if it works.
This old truck has 314500 on it and has never given me any problems. It's a late '99. I've been very happy with it but am thinking about later this year stepping up to a new '08. Give this one to my son. Maybe she'll go another 300?

Do yourself a favor and buy 2 of them if you can and keep one in the truck. Never know when it will shut off 200 miles from home
