WOW! just bought programmer for the truck, i put it at the 100hp setting, just to see...OH MY GOD!!
but i do have questions... reliability is big for me, i cant afford problem$, anyways, it has a 40hp/ economy setting, would that be safe to use..
i think that the 100hp might be putting too much strain... any opinions...

if you don't plan on racing around everywhere the 40 setting should do quite well. You can always change it back and forth. I hardly ever switch mine to the 100 or 140 setting. I usually cruise on the 75. For me that seems the most efficient setting.

40 should be fine 75 to 80 is usually a great econo setting if you have it. Do you have gauges. If so keep an eye on them to see where you run and you will be fiine

Gauges gauges guages... Diablo is know for hot programs...YOU can and will see EGT's in the danger area without gauges.

I'm going to bring it down to the 40 setting, i don't race, maybe tap the gas once in a while, i also dont haul too often. Wheni pull my boat i usually cruise slowly and get to the marina in about 20mins, then i remove straps etc.. and load up, launch boat then park, at least a 10-15min process in which the truck idles.. i can't spring for gauges yet (next on my wish list) do you think the temp will be ok? or should i go back to stock til i get gauges?

How about this, when I come down to florida I'll install gauges and other stuff for you in exchange for a fishing trip on your boat LMFAO!

Well, you would PROBABLY be fine with just the 40 program...but the way I see it, your truck is a huge investment and probably isn't good enough for me, I'd wait until you get the gauges just to be 100% safe about it
