Stripped bolts on valve body.
The other day i was changing my trans fluid and when i pulled the pan two bolts fell out of the valve body. i tried to put then back in and one threaded in but wouldn't torque down, the other actually had some aluminum in the threads. I had to leave that one out but i went around and tried to torque the rest of the bolts and four others would do the same thing (tighten up to a certain point and then loosen up again). I have been noticing higher than normal temps(190-210) lately. Everything feels like its working fine. I was thinking about heli coiling the bolts that will not tighten, and then pulling each bolt individually and loc tite them. Is this a good idea and is this probobly why i have been seeing higher temps?
