Door Alarm

I need some help I like to disconnect the door charm so I can listen to my radio with the driver door open on a 2001 ford f250

i just did mine 2 nights ago it took a whole 5 mins and its so peace full now

Yeppers so nice not to hear ding ding ding when your workin on your truck with the keys in the ignition and the door open.

well it did not work for me I did just what it said to remove the black/red wire that went to the switch and mine still goes ding ding ding. lol I have a 2001 ford f250 psd

I did mine today, and instead of removing the wire, i just put a piece of electrical tape over the contact. seemed to work fine. no dinger when i had the door open and radio blasting...Rod

I try that first and it did not work so I took the bottom off and remove the that clip and still did not work that is my luck so I guess I will remove the hole dinger
