exhaust

I am going to put a new exhaust on my 2001 7.3. looking at magnaflow should i get 5 in. or will 4 in. be ok .and should I put muffler on.

On a 5" you lose bottom end. IMHO.

4" straight pipe. heck i have stock straight pipe and its fine.. but if you want to then go for it.

4" is just fine, you arent going to gain anything going to 5" unless you are talking a serious mods. Just get a big tip and save come $ on buying a big exhaust.
