Stock truck EGT...look right?
Only "mod" I can think of that would change EGT's are my 17" wheels and tires, maybe a fuel filter change. I haven't seen any sort of tuner or chip on this thing.
This was taken going up a pretty good hill, giving about 50% throttle. It just hung at 10PSI/1100* (picture). I tried to do a video, but was in the wrong mode. When I gave it 80-100% throttle and it down shifted, it pegged to about 18 PSI boost and my EGT went to 1300 before I left off at almost 3,000 RPM. It would have kept going had I let it. |

spurts above 1250 or so wont hurt but i wouldntt let em stay here. definitely a bit high IMO. your egt gauge is in the manifold, correct?

I wouldnt worry I touch 1600 here and there when I floor it with a big load.

Got me worried because someone said something was wrong with my truck in another thread because it could hit 1200 stock.

you could just have a clogged muffler which is somewhat common most people just cut em off before they get gauges.
