Blocked vaccum pump to hubs line and AC still defaults to defrost

Finally had enough of the crappy Ford auto hubs and installed a set of Warn Premiums. I blocked the vacuum line from the vaccum pump to the hubs and ths dang thing still defaults the ac to defrost when the shift on the fly switch is rotated to 4wd. Am I missing something here?

You still have a vacuum leak somewhere. Check the line that runs across the passenger footwell. How did you terminate the hub lines? The defrost issue is signs of a vacuum leak. The ESOF hubs are not a bad design, but they do require maintenance that most ignore and then blame the hubs. What does suck is the cheap vacuum line and only using a simply nipple for a connection that is exposed to road debri!!

Does your vacuum pump even work??

I bypassed my vacuum reservoir completely and just plugged my vacuum pump into the line that goes towards the firewall for the A/C. Works great.
