Glowshift Sucks

I know I shouldnt have expected that much with them, but mine suck. Three times now wires have broken, not at the connection either. The wires are real cheap. You can only read them at night. Two of the 3 I have are stuck on red, which is fine with me thats what they would be, but when you order 7 color gauges you should get what you pay for. Now, my EGT gauge only works when you get on the truck. It'll actually move like the boost gauge and go up and when you let off it goes back to 0. I wouldnt buy Glowshift again.

Good to know - I was just about to order the Glowshift 3 in one gauge. Anyone know if autometer or another company makes a 3 in one type of gauge? I like the concept of all three gauges in one.

Thx

I did a little searching and found this long post re: Glowshift gauges on Cummins Diesel forum. Sounds like Glowshift is pretty responsive to comments and issues on their gauges. I'm on the fence, as i can't afford $300 for gauges. Anybody else have good/bad feedback on Glowshift? For the cheap price, I'll replace all the wires with aftermarket, if thats part of Josh99's issues. http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/3r...1-gauge-6.html

There is a reason why they are called GloCrap!!! I would never put them in a American Made diesel truck. A Honda civic maybe, no I wouldn't own one of them, lol!!! The only thing worse than having no gauges at all is having gauges you can't trust!! Save a dime now spend a buck later. To each his own!!

I got my autometer set with the 3 gauges and tripple pilar mount for 164.50 shipped from Summit Racing. I found the on another site for that price. I called Summit and told the sales guy and he price matched with them. If I can find the site I will post a link to it.
