billet fuel filter lid

I am haveing a billet lid with a wrench boss and a 3/8" acces. port machined for my trucks fuel filter. I was wondering if there was any intrest out there for a item like this.I have looked for aftermarket and can't find it, so I'll make my own.

yea i diff would, i thought someone on had posted a link 2 a site that sold thows with a tap for a pressure gauge, but my memory's as short as my..... yea a " Big tough truck" like the stroker with that peace of crap cap! what the he** size is that thing anyway (metric extension!!! ) what do ya think its gonna cost to get that thing machined?

I am currently trying to get a patend on the design and at this point I'm not sure what the cost will be. I will have a prototype by friday.I will post some pics.

I believe both DJ's and Discount Power Parts both sell them. They also have one for the oil filter.

those are all for the 6.0 this design is for the 7.3.

I saw one for the 7.3 but I can't remeber where, there were 2 versions, one with a port for a gauge and one standard one. I'd be interesed in one myself, kind forgot about it until now

I have the prototype it's machined with a flat top for a design or lettering. it is designed like a boat gas cap with to small holes on top for a spanner wrench. I had the wrench and cap made. they will be delivered together, the cap also has a 3/8 test port cut and threaded in the top. I installed the first one on my truck just to check it out, so far so good no leaks or problems.I will post pics later..

DI has one, I'll see if I can find the link. The only issue I can see is some filters come with a new lid attched to the filter. Wix is the only one I can recall that doesnt do that now.
