Can I?
Can I run a 12 volt car battery directly to my fuel pump to make sure it works? It will not do anything when the truck has the key turned on. Isnt it supposed to hum when your waiting to start? I am trying to figure out if the pump is bad or the wiring is bad to the pump.

I dont know why you couldn't. I wouldnt hold the leads to it but for a second or 2
