ts chip help

i got my chip today, i put it in and it starts and drives but no power added at all. its a stock off the shelve ts chip. its +140hp but the 50hp chip i had before blow more smoke and gave me more power then im at now WHAT IS IT

Are you sure you got the contacts on the PCM clean enough? You ought to see copper when your done.

Don't sound like you got the chip in right or you don't have the pcm board clean enough.

its all copper now and the chip is all the way in and still nothing what do i do now

Make sure both sides of the board are clean, you'll have to take the pcm apart to clean it on both sides well.

By all means not to steal this thread just trying to help you and me since I am having problems as well...I have power but the trannie shifts funky
When I cleaned mine I got all the "protective" stuff off but the connections look to be a silver color definitely not copper. Do I need to remove more of the coating on the strips?
