water in oil on dt466e engine
hi i have problems with international engine dt466e water in oil i remove the head we check the head for leaks with no problems........ we change the injectors slevees? what do you think ? what else we need check? block? problems?

Oil cooler? Does that motor have removeable cylinder liners?

The DT-466 engine does have removable cylinder liners. If the head is not cracked, and the head gasket is not leaking, then the next place I would check would be the liners.
They are sealed with o-rings, but often electrolosys in the coolant causes corrosion near the o-rings, and eventually causes a leak. |
