Do antennas wear out?

do antennas wear out after a while. it seems like my truck hasnt been getting as good of a radio reception lately where it used to get a great reception. idk what the deal is. might just be time for a new head unit lol.

i had the same problem with mine. this is what i did and mine works well now.

took out the old head unit and looked where the antenna connected to it well the wire running from that to the unit was loose so it was picking up everything just un-srcew it and plug it back in.
