Mirror repair question

Didn't notice any links in the 7.3 repair section and was wondering if there is a thread on how to fix the mirrors? The mirrors aren't responding to the switch when I try to adjust them from the door mounted switch. Is there a common fix to this problem?

Lastly, is there a source where I could buy the small blind spot mirror that is positioned just under the large mirror on the tow style mirrors? The one I have now is busted.

Do you have a buddy you could simply swap switches and see if that works.

As far as the mirror goes, you can just pop it out and take it to a glass shop. They can fix it for cheap...

I've just learned that some of these aftermarket tow mirrors are sold as manual units so I need to take one of the mirrors off to see if there is any wiring or not. Had no idea to do this until just learning this so thanks everyone
