99 7.3l
i am kinda new to the site. i got a 99 7.3L powerstoke 4x4 and i just bought it like a month and a half ago. i have a buddy that said he knows alot about diesels. i had him drive it and look at it after i bought it. he said when its running it sounds kinda like its idleing different. but it shows no sign of a prob. the rpms dont move at all when it idles. he said they 7.3s sensor can go out often. i was just wondering if anyone had any input.

the CPS sensor can go out on the 7.3 but not that often... at least not for most of us... some people will drive over 100k miles and not have a problem were other will have to replace a few by the time they reach 100k... ive had to replace 1 so far around a year ago but havnt had any problems since then... the 7.3L is one of the best PSD engines that ever came out so just enjoy it and drive it like its not yours
oh and welcome to the org.-Raul |
