What makes a beefy diesel beefy????
This may be a dumb questions but since my 2000 F250 is totally stock I don't now much about the add-ons and the what-nots. Wondering what makes the diesel sound so much more beefier than mine. Is it pretty much allin the exhaust or are there other factors such as different turbos or air intakes? Just don't know what it all is. I know that with motorcycles it's all in exhausts for the most part but is it the same in the Powerstokes. If it is mostly all in the exhaust is it straight pipes or just certain mufflers? I have seen guys selling 5 inch mufflers on hear and wondering if that would make my truck sound better. If you change exhaust or mufflers than do you need to change the air intake or chip it? Lota of questions but I think that some of you will understand where I'm going with this.
Thanks! |

7inch straight piped stacks.
Along with a set of headers from DI. It will sound beefy. |
