Need some how to help please

I am a total newb and have been reading as much as I can about this new to me diesel.
How do I change my fuel filter, where is it at etc..
Any instructions with pictures out there that I can get a link to.

Fuel filter is right on top of the motor behind the black cover Its the black circle that looks like a 1/2 inch drive ratchet fits in the middle

There should also be a plastic lever that you can rotate to drain the fuel filter basket. The fuel drains out under the truck through a little metal tube. I let it drain until it stops and then I remove the old filter and put in a new one. Couldn't be easier.

So the top unscrews and just pull out the old and in with new?

Basically but it depends if you got the new style filter with the cap already on it

basically but it depends on if you got the new or old filter
and there is an o ring that goes with it
