"Lifetime" Differential fluid

I think I have seen this on here before but not sure.

I know the manual says it never has to be changed unless it leaks or work is done to it. But I dont care how sythetic the oil is or what kind of additive is in it, after 8 yrs and 127,xxx miles(towing and turning 35's everyday) that fluid is going to break down.

So what is yalls take on never changing the differential fluid?
I think it should be done atleast every 100k or so.
