Can my chip be re-burned?

Well my dad and I both have TS chips, his is newer and is a little different in size and shape. Does that matter when I send it in for a reburn?

Tony is a member of this site why not send him a PM?? My guess is no problem, if there is I am sure he will swap it over to the new model.
