Can you recommend a PS manual?

I need to learn more about Powerstroke basics so that I can follow these discussions and maybe do some maintenance work myself.

Can anyone recommend a good how-to manual?

I don't have one yet, but if you read the discussions here, especially the "sticky" notes for maintenance, etc, you will learn a lot. Start with something like common PSD acronyms. That will help you to understand what is being discussed when someone talks about a CPS, you know that is a cam position sensor, a common problem area for a time with certain years.

Yes, I agree. There's a lot of info here to be found. I guess there's no help for it but to keep researching. I am surprised though that there does not seem to be a decent book on the engine. At least I haven't found one yet.
