front swaybar questions

Ok.....In the process of tracking down another nagging issue now that my oil leak is fixed. I have had a popping noise under the driver side floorboard for some time now. I was certain it was body bushings so I replaced them all and now the issue is even more pervelant. Tonight I dropped the sway bar links off the bar and zip tied everything up and the noise is gone. I got new drop links and poly bushings with my 6" Skyjacker lift kit and now when I pulled the bolts from the bottom and let the bar swing down the red poly bushings are pretty out of shape. Un hooked there is no pop. Anyone ever remove the front sway bar all together? The two bushings on the bar on the front axle have never been changed beacuse I ordered the ploy ones from Energy Suspension twice and neither set fit and the tech there said I had an oddball and could not help.
Where do I go from here???

Send a message via AIM to dereku
try the universal ones from advance auto I got em and made them work. Had to use their brackets and it involved some cutting but it worked.

Would the two bushings on the axle make the popping noise im heaing and feeling in the floorboard? Or would it be the end link bushings?

Mine is the left side spring hanger moving back and forth. Have someone get in the truck and you under it and turn the wheel and see where it might be coming from.

Yes it turned out to be the front sway bar drop link bushings. I called Skyjacker after finding the bushings so worn they were into the sleeves and they sent all new ones and were aware of a bad batch of bushings from their manufacturer about the time I installed mine. No more pop.

Truck started popping as it was before while towing the RV this weekend. Pulled the away bar drop link bushings like last time and they are in just as bad of shape, metal on metal. This is getting crazy!! New ones only been on about 3 months now. Going to call skyjacker back again tommorow!!
