Anybody willing to pull codes on my truck in Sacramento?

My 2000 f250 7.3 is flashing the light on the overdrive button. If I move the shift lever back and forth, often the light goes out, but not always. I've read that if this light is flashing it might mean tranny problems. Is there anyone in Sac with a code reader that will pull tranny codes? I'll gladly show up with a 12 pack of your favorite brew!

Thanks
Haven

I'm near Watt and I80. I see you're in Colfax, I'm willing to drive to Colfax some evening or over the weekend if that would work better for you (I'm out of town this wed, thu fri, back Saturday). I just got the "service engine soon" light flashing as well and figure a code reader would clear that also. You can email me direct at hpcbmw@yahoo.com.

Thanks!

Well, good news for me. I took my truck to a local shop (Imler Diesel in Sacramento - GREAT SERVICE!). They hooked up the code reader and the SES code was for EBPV, which i had just unhooked to check any affect on mileage.

There were no tranny codes. The mechanic said these trucks have a wire that goes into the steering column. There is a connection inside the steering column that works itself loose, resulting in the OD light flashing off and on randomly. They said it's a pretty easy fix. Anyone know any details about this?

Bottom line, no codes to worry about.

Thanks to Korg for offering to pull the codes, but we never quite got to the same place at the same time.
