what are the signs of the torque converter going out?

It won't stay locked up.

Mine didn't. Mine would just come unlocked all the time and be annoying then a couple days later, it was done.

mine vibrates a little, i dont know if its the tc though.

however that aside it feel like its slipping when im coming out of a stop and like it has less power going down the road.

I been wondering this to. Mine doesnt have that snap off the line anymore, it feels like it loses power for a second then kinda lunges forward. With all the talk about how edge messes up your tranny its got me worried
