What do you think about this 2002?
First, thanks for all the great information on this site.
I am in the market for my first PSD and would like opinions on this rig: 2002 Ford f-250 super duty crew cab 4X4 Story is the owner bought 4 years ago with 80K. Standard maintenance has been done, the only real thing that he says he replaced is the alt and batteries. He has only towed with it once. I have done a ton of research about the 6.0 and am a bit turned off (no this is not a debate thead) only because I can not find one that is not dealer owned that has records. So what can I expect from a 7.3 with this sort of milage and what should I look for? I might take a look at it tomorrow. Thanks everyone. |

I got my first PSD about a month and a half ago with 200k miles on and love it.... For a 8 year old truck its little small things that im having to get done but as far as the truck it drives great! Hell my gf argued with me last night bc she wanted to drive it!! lol

would be a good deal if you could get the price down a couple thousand... but still a nice truck

I paid 12000 for a 2000 and it did not have leather. It was the original owner and talking to him and the recent stuff that was done on my truck ball joints breaks etc made it worth it to me. Its hard to find a good one.

Looks clean, I bought my early 1999 Lariat with 148,000 miles on it a year ago an couldn't be happier. I haven't had one problem with it, now has 172,000 on the clock. I would second that on negotiating on the price. I got mine for $8500 but it is a 99 and the one your looking at is a 2002, but u wont be dissapointed with the 7.3L.
