Steering Moan

My truck moans while turning the steering wheel. It will do it at certain points durning the turning, but not the whole time. It has 129K on it. Before buying this one, I test drove one with 225K on it and it did the same thing, just more. Is this just a trait of these trucks, or do I need to service power steering pump?

I hear that once they start moaning, they're toast, but you could try a PS pump service. It may work , and its cheaper than buying a new one

I know i can rebuild Toyota PS pumps; maybe Ford offers one too
