7.3 auto trans?

So what's the deal with these things? I see some people have theirs go out before 100k and some go well past 200k with no trouble! I'm purchasing a 2wd 2000 f250 w/ 7.3 and auto trans this week. It has 75k miles and it is mint. Would it be wise to eventually upgrade the aux trans cooler?

Cheers, Brian.

thats probably your problem, any bit extra of performance without trans tuning of any kind will just tear them up...iirc
