7.3 auto trans?

So what's the deal with these things? I see some people have theirs go out before 100k and some go well past 200k with no trouble! I'm purchasing a 2wd 2000 f250 w/ 7.3 and auto trans this week. It has 75k miles and it is mint. Would it be wise to eventually upgrade the aux trans cooler?

Cheers, Brian.
