gutting and plugging up the exhaust pressure valve mod

just curious what is the point of doing this to the turbo pedistal?

pretty much so the ebpv doesnt work, and theres no performance gains out of this as well

Not true at all. I recorded 100-200 degrees EGT drop across the board. This means better flow.

Better cold weather manners are also improved.

It eliminates several points for potiential oil leaks.

Last, it eliminates the chance of a EBPV malfunction.

If that isn't performce enhancement, I don't know what is. It is one of the best mods I've done to my truck.
