international swap

does the international motor T444E swap in with changing the outer parts off my 7.3 1999 f250? what is the performance diffrance? loss or gain. i think my motor is shott and international are a lot cheaper

thinking about ebuild but i found a international motor with 96 on it for 1000. would love to do a big bore but money dosent alow for it right now.

also are the injectors the same? and just change outside parts all internals the same

all the internals are the same only diffrence is the flywheel housing and front cover parts. yes the injectors are the same also. only diffrence is one is international blue and the ford is black. they are the same engine

The T444e is essentially the same as the 7.3L Powerstroke - but there may be external differences with the bellhousing, flywheel, clutch (if any), location of fuel filters, etc., etc. The T444e probably has a much larger oil pan, too.

i thought the 99 had split shots? am i wrong on that? does the early 99 still have single shots?

they have split shots with a 15* hpop ,so they have the capability to flow more fuel but they dont have enough oil (stock)
