Air Conditioner
After helping load out a semi trailer with a little over 600 small square hay bales, I hopped in the truck and turned on the A/C. It worked fine for probably 10min then started blowing warm and never cooled down again. Yesterday, we raised the hood and investigated finding that the pump will run for one cycle, then not run anymore after that until started the next time. The pump is not stuck and it turns just fine. We added about one can of coolant to it and it seemed to get cooler but after it ran it's one cycle we couldn't get it to run again.
Anybody have any ideas? With summer approaching it would be really nice to get the A/C working properly. |

Sounds like you could still be low on freon. After it runs for a bit the Low Pressure cut-off Shuts off the compressor because you're drawing the low side empty.
Get some gauges on it to really tell what's going on....... |
