'05 headlights- relay failure

I replaced the stock lights in my 2000 F-350 about a year ago... first issue I've had is today, seems the relay for the low beams went bad... I used the relay harness sold by GOS racing... Just wondering if meny others have had simular problems...

I took the relay apart, it's burned inside... the contacts are pitted and mostly gone. No damage to the wiring harness and connector.

Guess I'm drivin' home on low beams tonight... I swapped the good high beam relay for the bad low beam one...

What bulbs are you runnning?

i ran the gos harness for a couple of years in my 03, without any problems. still had the stock bulbs though.

Subscribing to this one. I'm thinking of getting ready to do this so would like to see if any one else has a problem.

i forgot to say, i will be doing this again on the 99. i am will be putting the 05 harley headlights on at the same time...

im running stock wiring with stock bulbs..not a single issue yet..

if you upgrade to silverstars etc you will need to make a relay harness or buy one..there not hard to make just takes time
