getting pulled over?

guys with lifted/modified trucks how do you avoid getting pulled over? my last car was a heavily modified audi and that car always found me on the side of the road...i dont drink and drive, i rarely speed... but yet i seem to get little tickets and infractions that are dings on my license.

so i guess im worried, because my truck is even more "flashy"

sooooo.... it got me thinkin...
my dad is chief at the local fire hall and i think im gonna try and get one of those little firefighter decals for my rear window "cop see's the flashy truck, then thinks im a firefighter lol so i dont get pulled over "

Won't work. I know a firefighter who just had to lower his truck and change tires and wheels cuz they stuck out past the body. Catch a cop who didn't get any that morning and you're still screwed.

it really doesn't matter. those little infractions don't count on your license....IE: lift height wheels stick out too far

those aren't moving violations so they don't count against you. but honestly I never really get pulled over with this truck.......

my old truck got me pulled all the time, what kinda stickers do you have on the truck? anything flashy and trashy? if so take that off your truck and you won't find yourself on the side so much

Chad

You just don't give them a reason to. When I lifted mine. I made sure I had fender flares (tires don't stick out past the fenders), AND MUD FLAPS!!! AND POINT YOUR HEADLIGHTS DOWN.

theres plenty of small time fire departments looking for help. especially young help, to replace the old, i mean aging, guys. its volunteer, but with enough time in you get a small pension. atleast that is the way it is in mn. then you can get fire fighter plates.
