hard brake line info needed
I accidentally cut one of the rear pass side steel hard lines.(dont ask how)
I measured it its approx 40 inches. I can get line from advance or a parts store. They have the 3/16 line. But all of their lines have the same size fittings on both ends. The end that goes to the junction lock at the flex hose is larger thread. I found metric to not work. I guess the brake caliper side(to rubber hose) is 3/16 american. That seems to be the right size. But the other end is larger. DOes anyone know what size these are? especially the larger side? thx |

I dont know the sizes off my head and Im not a fan of Napa but most of there stores will have the lines and addapters to get you straightened out espically if you find a good worker there and take in your old lines , you will have to get a line with the same size ends then use a fitting that converts to the bigger size. I ended up buying a flange kit and cut the wrong size off and puting the right size on, but either works fine.
