help, f350 2wd drw ball joint service

So, I've looked like everyplace and can't find any type of "help" section for replacing the ball joints on my 2wd f350 drw truck. I can find info on 4wd all over the place. I even went and bought a haynes manual and it said "at the time of this writing ball joints was not a serviceable item"

wtf, That was a waist of $25 dollars.

anyone have a link on info for doing this service ?

Thanks

Pull the tires take the calipers off and I find it easiest to just go ahead and take the rotor off also. Remove the castle nut retaining lower ball joint and lossen the retaining bolt for t the upper ball joint take a hammer and hit the I beam right in front of the lower ball joint b careful because when it drops it drops pretty fast. Use a ball joint tool to press out the old ones and to press in the new ones .. I am sure I forgot to mention a few things but its not that difficult I do mine like every six months my 2wd " eats" them but go with moog they have a lifetime warranty. Good luck .
