looking at early 99 questions

Group
went to look at an early 99 psd, it has a tuner, gauges and a jake brake installed, 115,000 miles.. runs and drives great but smoke like a champ!
And looks like a combo of blue and white smoke..
Also saw oil in the valley area in the back..
Truck seems cheap at $6000 with that mileage and a supercab 8ft bed.

What else can i check out on it for the smoke or is this normal with the tuner?

Blue white smoke isn't from the tuner. Thats from something else. Oil more than likely. White smoke can be unburnt fuel also.

Tuner should make it smoke black soot a little bit depending on the chip/tuner/programmer

Does it have a ses or check engine light on? How bad is it leaking oil in the valley?

Sam

there was a puddle down there.. and it will blow black if i get on it.. but seemed blueish white when just riding along. No check engine light on and the truck had good power and shifted well
