Early 99 F-350 a good deal?

Found a good deal on an early 99, but it is far away. Trying to see if it is worth going up there the look and probably get if everything checks out. Early 99 (just from pics badge is on the fender) 106k $12.5k.

I know there are some discrepancies between the early and late and then they got some hp increases over the years? Any difference as far as reliability or looks that I should be concerned about? Suspension any different?

look at the early 99 discussion, it will tell you everything you know. it was very helpful for me when i was looking at buying the 99 in my sig that i just bought. what body style is it. just based on miles, seems to be an all right price...

Well, I saw the early 99 forum and read through some stuff. I didn't post this there because I figured they would be biased!

other than some front suspension differences, the motor is set up different. if you are looking for big power, than you will have some work ahead of you.
