EDGE ATTITUDE EGT SENSOR

i use my edge attitude for my guages and last week my EGTs stopped reading right, now they are always really low(never goes over 100). can i buy and just replace the sensor or is there something else that might have gone bad? did the box take a shat on me maybe?

00 f350 crewcab dually 4x4
7.3l psd 6 speed
edge attitude box
4 in turbo back silverline stainless steel
centurion conversion
short throw shift package
exhaust brake
bully dog flashed ecm
cold air intake
"the money pit"

Im curious myself as mine always read correctly more or less but they jump around constantly. I dont think it is the sensor because they sent me a new on once.

Early 99 f-250 cab and half longbed 4" intake and exhaust edge evolution II(for egt and boost guage only), trans temp guage trucool max 40K, TW 6 pos

Your edge is about to blow up. Mine did the same thing then stopped. now my truck will not idle with the edge hooked into the ICP sensor

by blow up im hoping you mean stop working and not like ball of flames stuff

and i havent even been using the edge as my tuner ive only been using the guages i keep my edge on stock and am running just my bully dog flashed ecm

Ive gone both ways on that. When Im pissed I will cranck the edge up with my PHP Chip. When Im normal I have it on stock or 1 (mileage).

And by blow up I mean. Stopped working as designed.

Keep your camera handy incase yours actually blows up or just stops working. The time is near

yeah ill have to be ready for the explosion

i was out checkin my oil before and i touched the edge box and it was rather hot to the touch so somethings gonna happen soon id imagine

Just got an RMA number from Edge Sendin her back tomorrow to get looked at. The guy was takin all my info and I said this aint too common is it. he said nope!

hopefully all turns out well

Forgot to put that I asked them about you having the same symptom and they said there could be something internally wrong. but back at ya good luck
