Trans cooler

I have a opportunity to buy this. Is it any good? Its never been used.

It is a universal cooler and the instructions show what lines to cut and tap into for any vehicle you are installing it on. It measures 18" x 9" x 1" and it's a Thermal Dynamics Multi Flow cooler.

I'd try to find a cooler for a 6.0 or v10.....much bigger. Just my 2 cents.

If you're ADDING this to your current set up, you'll probably be fine. If you're replacing your current cooler, I'd agree with Chuck.

I put a 6.0L cooler in my truck because I tow a 12K 5th wheel. Made a world of difference!!

Top, 6.0L 31-row cooler - Bottom, Stock 9-row cooler

My original plan was to put the 6.0 cooler on. I just saw this one on sale from one of the other forums I visit, its $25. I'm looking for a replacement for the stock one.

Looks like it could restrict flow as well, your tranny is worth a few grand, do yourself some good and don't be afraid to spend some money on a quality parts, especially on such an important part.

I bought one of those off ebay for less than $20 shipped. I would stay away from it if I was you. It has very small holes for flow and it can get restricted easily. Mine ended up getting clogged after my trans broke and since the shop never flushed my system they got to put in another one. If you still want it I will sell you mine for $10.

check car-part.com for junk yard ones, I can usually find them for $50-150 bucks, I just haven't coughed up the cash to get one yet, I will be doing it in the next month or 2 though.
