gas to diesel swap

i have a 99 f250 superduty with a v10 i received a 2000 7.3 powerstroke for free i would like to know what all the swap intells i know a fair amount about mechanics and will be doing the swap my self i am just not sure what all is interchangeable between the the two motors

Your time would probably be better served to find and buy a truck with the diesel of your choice JMHO

TONS of things would be needed to make the swap, fuel system, electronics, transmission (?), accessories like alternator PS pumps might not swap over. Sounds like a huge headache to me

ok i also have the radiator, intercooler, a/c condencer,computer complete wiring harness for under the hood, powersteering pump,altinater,cooler hoses motor mounts flexplate, fan, belt, brake master and booster, vacum pump and tank i was told the transmission will interchange because i guess this motor has an adapter on it. just not sure if the fuel tank or sending unit will interchange

I don't know much about the 7.3, but deisel fuel alone is completely different from gasoline. Your fuel system may need a total swap too
