4r100 to ZF6

I toasted the tranny towing yesterday. So now its a ticking time bomb. It will still drive short periods or so.

I am thinking about doing to auto to manual conversion. I read the write up and I was looking for alittle more insight on the pre-bleed master slave cylinder kit regarding the install along with the pedal assy. Mounting etc. plus lines Im not sure if the kit come with them.

Right now im looking at this cost

Reman ZF6 1875 with 500 core unless they will take my 4r100
Clutch Pedal Assy $200
Transfercase - Hoping a tranny shop will swap shafts for relatively cheap
Cylinder Kit $165
Clutch Kit w/ flywheel from Southben $650

So everything minus the tcase and core charge is 2,889

Any more info onthe swap would help!

Not a bad deal. I wonder if you could get more out of a 4r core vs the zf.
