nice night to have my truck broken into!!!!

parked downtown san antonio to get a bite to eat. came back to a pile of glass on the ground. ******* stoke my tomtom but left the ipod and everything else in there. i have an alarm so as soon as they smashed the glass it went off so they grabbed the first thing they could and ran. now i have to deal with the insurance. I HATE THIEVES!!!!!

Hate to tell you this but more than likely the insurance won't cover your gps. They will cover your window but they will say that your gps wasn't "hooked" into your truck and they will tell you to claim it under property insurance which if you are like me then your copay is at least $500 and you might as well not even claim it. I'm just saying this because my truck was broken into about two months ago and I just now got my insurance check last week. At least you are lucky though, they took my garmin gps, my indash tv, and they broke my window, messed up my dash, and put a dent in the window frame from whatever they used to break the window.

The last two times my truck was broken into didn't even bother dealing with the insurance. Just payed for the crap that was stolen and moved on. Sucks though!

Yeah they will. I set mine off the other day throwing a shovel in the bed and I couldnt hardly get the keys out of my pocket to shut it off. It was so loud it made me go haha
